I've always been a huge fan of this saw. I have one in my BOB. one in my CERT pack, and one in my Bushcraft kit. As well as a couple of them floating around the house.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words....
Granted, this was all Honeysuckle which is a very soft wood when it's green. But, some of it was dead and quite a bit harder. I debated breaking out the chainsaw for some of the bigger stuff. But, it was so easy to cut through even the largest limbs, I didn't think it would be worth having to heft it around.
I ended up cutting back five bushes like this over the weekend. The Gerber saw worked flawlessly through all of this.
I've been using these saws for years now. They just work and work well.
Simply put...this is a saw I would bet my life on.
